main character energy

Ok so last year my pastor gave a word about main character energy.

I really can’t begin to unpack the gravity of that message except for looking at the person I am today in comparison to the girl who came to VIVE Girl conference last year.

I didn’t know what stepping into my main character energy looked like. I didn’t know how it would affect every area of my life. I didn’t know how much I had set aside my wants, my needs, my desires, my every day living for (at the time) what I thought everyone needed and expected of me.

There have been no shortage of tears to be cried and screams to be screamed in this last year. But what I’ve also discovered… re-discovered in some areas… is a stronger sense of self, a stronger sense of identity as a daughter of a God who loves me completely. I’ve discovered joy like I’ve never felt before. And I’m coming into the place of discovering fun like I never knew I could have, never knew I deserved to have, never knew I could get away with having.

And this sense of self is ever-evolving, but she’s here to stay. And I’m very grateful to say that stepping into VIVE Girl Conference 2023, I can confidently stay I’m a new me.

I will be stepping into that conference with my main character energy. I’m not allowing the things of the past to stop me from being exactly who I was created to be. Thank you to Pastor @keirasmallcombe, thank you to my @vive.girls sisterhood, and I cannot wait to be caught up in the WONDER of VIVE Girl Conference 2023! See you in October ladies!
